The storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.

These purposes are also our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

IV. Cookies use

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

In the cookie, information is stored that arises in each case in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we thereby obtain direct knowledge of your identity.

The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. We use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our site.

The purpose of using technically necessary cookies is to simplify the use of websites for users. For these, it is necessary that the browser is recognized even after a page change.

In these purposes also lies our legitimate interest in the processing of personal data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Cookies are stored on the user’s computer and transmitted by the user to our site. Therefore, as a user, you also have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings in your Internet browser, you can disable or restrict the transfer of cookies. Cookies that have already been saved can be deleted at any time. This can also be automated. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all functions of the website to their full extent.

The session cookies used are automatically deleted after you leave our site.

V. E-mail contact

It is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, your personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored.

In this context, the data will not be passed on to third parties. The data will be used exclusively for processing and responding to the contact request.

The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If the e-mail contact aims at the conclusion of a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

The processing of personal data serves us solely to process the contact, which is also the necessary legitimate interest in processing the data.

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For the data sent by you via e-mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with you has ended. The conversation is ended when the circumstances indicate that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified.

If you contact us by e-mail, you can object to the storage of your personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued.

You can revoke the use of your data at any time by sending an e-mail to info(at)camping-koeln.de. All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will be deleted in this case.

For the guestbook function on our website, in addition to your comment, details of when the comment was created, your e-mail address and, if you do not post anonymously, the name you have chosen will be stored. The name they choose will be published on the website in connection with the comment.

Our comment function stores the IP addresses of users who post comments, as well as the date and time of the comment. Since we do not check comments on our site before they are activated, we need this data in order to be able to take action against the author in the event of legal violations (such as insults).

The collection and processing of their data and the comment is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

Your comment and the data we collect in the process will be saved and your comment and chosen name will remain visible on the website until the comment has to be deleted for legal reasons or we delete it. The IP address and your e-mail address will then also be deleted.

You can revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time. For this purpose, an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

VII Google Fonts

We use within our online offer on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO for the uniform display of fonts so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website was accessed via your IP address. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font is used by your computer.

The data collected may be processed in the USA. For more information, please see Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Google, as the provider of this content, perceives the IP address of the users, because without the IP address they could not send the content to your browser. The IP address is thus required for the display of this content.

In addition to IP addresses, the data transmitted to Google may include your location data in particular, which, however, will not be collected without your consent (usually in the context of the settings of your devices).

The data collected may be processed in the USA. For more information, please see Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

It is only used for the administration and playout of the tools integrated via it. However, Google Tag Manager collects your IP address, which may also be transferred to Google’s parent company in the United States.

The use of the Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Google Ads allows us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms on Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted advertisements can be played on the basis of the user data available at Google (e.g. location data and interests) (target group targeting). As a website operator, we can evaluate this data quantitatively by analyzing, for example, which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many ads resulted in corresponding clicks.

The use of this service is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.

With Google Ads Remarketing, we can assign people who interact with our online offering to specific target groups in order to subsequently display interest-based advertising to them in the Google advertising network (remarketing or retargeting).

Furthermore, the advertising target groups created with Google Ads Remarketing can be linked with Google’s cross-device functions. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one end device (e.g. cell phone) can also be displayed on another of your end devices (e.g. tablet or PC).

If you have a Google account, you can object to personalized advertising at the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

The use of this service is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

Google conversion tracking allows Google and us to recognize whether the user has taken certain actions. For example, we can evaluate which buttons on our website were clicked how often and which products were viewed or purchased particularly frequently. This information is used to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and what actions they took. We do not receive any information with which we can personally identify the user. Google itself uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification.

The use of this service is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

The provider operates servers in the EU, but it cannot be ruled out that your browser also accesses servers outside the EU. The content of our service and communication are not handled by CDN. To prevent the execution of Java Script altogether, you can install a Java Script blocker in your browser.
